After training at Laton Ash from the age of 4 to 18, Emma left the dance centre to join Carnival Cruises, and spent two years onboard, performing in the nightly production shows whilst travelling around the Caribbean!
Other theatre and TV credits include Spirit of the Dance (USA / UK Tour), Essence of Ireland (UK Tour - choreographer), Mamma Mia – The Concert (UK Tour), Brit Awards, MTV House Music Awards, The Generation Game, The Mint, and many pantomimes! (as both Principal Girl and choreographer for UK Productions).
In the world of pop, Emma has choreographed for acts including The Feeling, Armand van Helden, Sonique, Take That (children’s choreographer) and Axwell.
Emma now runs her own studios in West and North London, attended by over 1000 children on a weekly basis, offering classes in ballet, tap, modern, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre and street dance. The studio’s senior street dance troupe were recently finalists at the World Street Dance Championships, placing 8th in the under 18 age category, as the highest placed English team.
Emma has been able to have a long-standing career as a dancer, choreographer and teacher due to her training at Laton Ash Dance Centre. She had many amazing years at the studio, and will always be very grateful to all the teachers there and to Miss Pauline!
