Dance

The Dance Section of our Festival has always been extremely popular which was reflected in the number of classes we offered, over 150 in the last festival. However, 2020 has been very challenging for us all as the global COVID 19 pandemic has affected our lives.

At Hastings Musical Festival, we want to provide a truly enjoyable experience for all our dancers, within the confines of Government guidance.

We are therefore offering 54 solo classes and 10 duet classes in our virtual online festival, including 4 new choreography classes. Sadly, trios, quartets and group dance entries will not be possible due to social distancing. Our prestigious Bronze, Silver and Gold medal classes will also not take place in 2021.

Entries will open on 1st October 2020 and adjudication will take place between 7th and 20th March 2021.

We hope you will continue to support us in 2021 and look forward to welcoming you!
