Sophie-Louise Dann

Sophie-Louise Dann went on to train at Arts Educational Schools London and her extensive career has encompassed the worlds of musical theatre, opera, radio and film.

A multi Olivier award nominee she has earned the reputation of being one of the West End’s favourite leading ladies creating roles including Barbara Castle MP in Made in Dagenham, Celia in Gary Barlow’s Calendar Girls the musical, Diana DiVane in Lend me a Tenor the musical and Paula Paxton in Bend it like Beckham.

Other favourite roles include Mme Thenadier in Les Miserables, Dot in Sunday in the park with George, Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd and numerous roles with the D’Oyly Carte opera at the Savoy theatre.

She is a regular guest artiste on Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night and her solo cabaret show ‘May I have a moment?’ has live-streamed throughout lockdown in London and New York.
